现在思绪很乱，不知道要做什么才对……不知道该哭还是该笑……
终于了解为什么当Jesse发现Jane卧尸在他身边时，那种震惊的感觉……

整个过程发生的太快……前个小时还在朋友家狂笑，还和朋友谈政治……

在我的房间、坐在这椅子上、对着电脑……

一个小时内婆婆忽然这样走了……

所以说人算不如天算。

昨晚睡觉的时候谁知你会隔天离开？

今早起来时怎知你晚上会离开？

刚才考试时怎知你等下会离开？

和朋友吃饭聊天时怎知我回来就会接到你离开的噩耗？

坐在这里上fb和朋友pm怎知道你在一个小时内会离开？

浑身在颤抖着。

沉浸于刚刚震惊后的余味……但考试之际又提醒自己要理智点……

望望四周似乎什么都没发生过

但想回去，婆婆真的走了。真的吗？以后再也见不到他吗？

这就是真正难以置信的处境。

想醒来回到原本的规律，却又有点舍不得这滋味。

有感而发

今天众所周知是STPM成绩放榜的日子。的确跟我插不上什么关系，但我想说的是一位前任同班同学的故事。曾经，他在我班里是最顽皮的男生之一，常常参与一班，能和不认真读书、不听老师劝告、在班上睡觉的人画上等号的朋友。今天，出乎我个人的意料，他得了4.0。

这对我来说是个无比的强心剂！他、老天爷再次向我证明了；跌倒了，再爬起来，依然能够在前锋！跌倒不代表你从此就会落伍。来这里前，不知道我吃了多少白果。一次又一次的失败，让我慢慢地变成一个沮丧，自我放弃的人。好几次我都向老天爷哭诉，这是个玩笑吗？我之前不努力，成绩不好是应得；但我努力了，为什么成绩似乎都没起色？我不够努力吗？

终于，在一个小测验里，我得了80分。小测验罢了，80分罢了。没错，也许有人会这么认为，但对我来说那是个转变。它向我证明了我的付出得到了我要的回报。我不是异常，我也能像别人那样，跌倒了再站起来。

我们都以为他没可能是得到4.0的那个人，现在这个却是事实。既然他能，为什么我不能？果然‘天下无难事只怕有心人’这句谚语不仅是一年级学的谚语，长大后还真有它的用处。

Radish tales

Radish cakes, also known as turnip cakes (菜头糕) is a Chinese snack that is loved by many. It is basically made up of the mixture of grated radish, rice flour and water. Radish cakes can be served in 3 different ways. One of them would be in a squarish shape and it's white in colour. Another similar version is also white in colour but cut into smaller cubes. Closer to the latter version, the third type is also in the form of small cubes but the only difference is that it is back and the obviously it would taste different. This one are those that we used to see in night markets. This is my favourite version.

I'm not here to lecture about radish cakes or talk on its recipe. This time around I'll share a story about radish cakes. So I was in the night market buying radish cakes, and there came some guy who said "Boss, I want 3 packets, 2 chili one less chili" Then came another woman continuing after him, "Boss, I want one without egg, one lighter colour."

I secretly peeked at the boss who was sweating like hell and trying his best to fry as far as possible. I reckoned he feels annoyed but couldn't speak a word.

So I shared this story with my mum, who knew she had a better one. Apparently she saw this old man who requested for no chili, lighter colour, no egg, no fish sauce..etc. Me and my sister laugh so hard after listening.
This reminded me about another old lady who requested for something different too but the funny, yet irritating part s that he kept reminding the boss her order after someone makes their order. I understand that they are worried that the boss could be forgetful but gosh! This is just RIDICULOUS!

Seriously people, are you blind or what when you stand in front of the stall waiting for your food? Haven't these people see how the boss cooks? He fries a few packets altogether regardless of who's it is and just divide it into, the most is bigger packet or smaller packet.

How can the boss fry together when one requested for chili and the other one without chili or fish sauce? How can the boss fry together one that is normal with chili, and the other one lighter but no egg?

I guess the boss also decided to play with them and did the "usual package" rather than their "special package" and those customers just ate it like there's nothing different. Funny people.

I'm a little bit crazy today. I guess after days of sinking myself into procrastination and laziness, I decided to bounce back and do something efficient or crazy. Generally I wanted to list these down because I realize how important are these for me in the future, possibly and hopefully. Like what I read from one of the profile on Linkedin where he described how he fused his passion in music and entertainment into his interest in business and management. Never in the world would I thought that it would be possible to obtain the best of both worlds in these two bipolar industries. So to those out there who are hungry to get a taste of the glamourous entertainment or fashion industry but worried about the job prospect in there, as in artists, celebrities or models who come fast and go fast, these might be some pretty decent options! If you think there's only models, fashion designers, and photographers in the fashion industry; or celebrities, big bosses, managers, musicians, choreographers, music video directors in the entertainment industry,think again. An entertainment company or a fashion label, is still a company. They need professionals like lawyers or accountants too. Hard to imagine too at first.

First Trip to Ramadhan Bazaar

Hari Raya Aidilfitri is just around the corner and during this fasting season, one of the prominent highlights will be the Ramadhan Bazaar. Considering myself as a foodie and a Malaysian, I cannot live up to that name if I said I haven't been to the Ramadhan Bazaar. It has been my dream (I consider that as one of my dreams) to attend this event. Every once and then around this time, I would only have the pleasure of seeing the Ramadhan Bazaar passing by me in front of my eyes in the car swiftly. It hasn't been an easy task to persuade and convince my parents to bring me there for once. Just once. So far, the Ramadhan Bazaar that I grew up watching is the one at Taman Cempaka and yes, today I finally got the opportunity to visit this "holy place". Here's some of the pictures that I took.

I saw in The Star newspaper saying that someone actually sold some light blue drink called the blue coral milkshake in Shah Alam's Ramadhan Bazaar. Here's the article Petai and milkshake make a good mix at bazaar. I thought I have the chance to see for myself but instead, I explored this dark blue coloured drink called blue lemon. No I didn't give it a shot because I'm simply not a fan the chemistry between fancy colours and stuff going into my body.

Satar.

Satar is definitely eye-opening. It looks similar to otak-otak but it is not. Apparently it's a snack that is made of fish, originated from Terengganu. It's made into the shape of a pyramid and inserted through a stick.

Seriously! Even the name makes you wanna try this delicacy! Besides the fact that it's tasty and fresh and spicy, most importantly it's cheap. For a big packet, probably 15 to 20 kupang it sells only at rm5. Definitely worth the money.

Roast chicken.

Another cheap, tasty delicacy. It's half a chicken and well roasted for only rm7. We even suspected if he forgotten the 1 in front of the 7. FYI, the right piece was ours xD It was amazingly tender and delicious, we shall visit this guy again next time.

New Year cookies

I took this because I just simply love these cookies. It's my favourite food during Hari Raya though it's not a traditional food by Malays! And sometimes it even taste better than those during Chinese New Year.

We also bought Nasi Kerabu and Nasi Dagang. It was my first time tasting it and Kerabu wasn't that bad, Dagang tasted pretty good! And the curry fish given by the hawker tasted really well.

Dumplings, drummets, nuggets for celebrations

Thursday was the day I officially qualify myself as a driver!!! *YAY* *claps*

ok so it wasn't something special enough for me to blog about it, but these pictures are the motivation behind this blog post.

I was flattered seeing my mum making this when I came home from my test. She just randomly wanted to clear up the leftover nuggets but then realized it was too little for lunch (lunch?! LUNCH?! ONLY THESE?), so she decided to fry the drummets altogether. Well buying the drummets was actually my idea and I meant to eat it when I;m celebrating something. So....I just considered this as the dish for celebration for my passing as a driver! It's the best lunch ever seen but definitely the most unhealthy one. Typical guilty pleasure case. I just think it's worth sharing because I doubt my mum would ever make this again, considering that she has neither opened a party for any of us, nor bringing food like this for picnic or potluck. The only time that I can enjoy it is probably in KFC only.To let her make something like this again, that'll probably take at least another 10 years so...hahah :P

Olympics, Lee Chong Wei and 1 Malaysia

Talking about real Malaysia, those sign or the slogan are all nothing but bloated propaganda and empty promises to most of Malaysians, yet tonight Lee Chong Wei has shown us the true spirit of 1 Malaysia.

Bringing his ankle injuries to the Olympic games without a full recovery, deep down in every Malaysian's heart have sort of given up on the hope of him bringing back the gold medal despite multiple adverts and commercials spreading all over the media and billboards. With a tough game fighting Finland's Ville Lang with 21-14, 8-21, 21-11 in the first round, it's hard to imagine Lee Chong Wei repeating the scene of him battling Lin Dan in the finals like the last Beijing Olympics. Yet, he made it against the odds by bringing down Indonesia's Simon Santoso, India's Kashyap Parupalli and even world's seed no.3 Chen Long to the finals.

Compared to the last game with Lin Dan in 2008's olympics with a complete defeat of 8-21 and 12-21 that clearly wasn't done with his full potential, Lee Chong Wei has impressed 28 millions Malaysians plus international media with an amazing game by taking down the first round with 21-15, 10-21 and 19-21. ESPN commentator praised Chong Wei "Skills win you medals, but attitude wins hearts". Don't forget, he played under a severe leg injury with a 19-21 result, though teeth-gritting but worth saluting. In fact, during an interview with CCTV, Lee Chong Wei revealed that for his every game in the Olympics, he has taken pain-killer to prevent his injuries from recurring. That time when he sat down on the court after having defeated, I thought he was crying in disappointment. No. He was actually resting because his leg was starting to ache. If Olympics has the best Olympian award, I think he deserves it.

Put aside his glory and reputation, I particularly love how sports, not just Olympics, brings the whole nation together. Being a multi-racial country, unity has always been a highly debated issue. For instance, recently with the whole "Malay asking Chinese to go back China" thingy had put more threat towards the aim of uniting people of different races. Yet when it comes to sports, it's like a voluntary action when people put down their weapons and armors, fighting for the same reason. It's the moment when people reveal the bright side of themselves! No one becomes hostile towards anyone. Instead of the hostility, friendliness is what we sense between every Malaysian even between strangers! Whenever Lee Chong Wei scores or loses, we don't just feel the joy of victory, but also the sense of pride for being a Malaysian. It works 1000000 times more effectively than standing in the field singing the national anthem everyday! In fact, it makes you want to stand up and sing for the national anthem your own. On the international view, I too, love how the Olympics acted as a reliever to the multiple world crisis, notably the economic crisis that hit Europe real hard.

Now I wish I could have done better in sports and make Malaysia proud but no, I'm not the one. Put that aside, I also wish the government would be aware of the issue of Malaysia talents getting dried out. Instead of focusing how to make them richer and powerful, I hope they could put more attention into this because honestly, like my mum said, unlike China who wins in almost everything they joined, Lee Chong Wei was pressured when the whole nation only put their hopes on him for the whole Olympics.
